HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PRODUCTS?

We suggest hand washing your collars in a mild detergent and laying flat to dry. Bow tie attachments should only be washed gently by hand or spot cleaned as needed to keep its shape. Air dry only. 

For Faux Leather Collars, we recommend a mild clean regularly. Dampen a soft non-abrasive cloth with warm water and mild detergent as needed, and gently wipe the surface of the material. Wipe away any detergent or soap with warm water. Afterwards, dry off with a clean soft cloth. This prevents general wear and tear and everyday marks from building up.

 

ARE THE BOW TIES AND SAILOR BOWS REMOVABLE?

Yes, bow ties are attached to the collar by two elastics in the back which can be slipped on and off the collar. The collar may be worn alone for day to day use.

 

DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?

We are more than happy to assist you with customizing our product. We can interchange the width of your collar if you would prefer a narrower or thicker collar. We can also substitute a smaller or larger bow tie to your collar upon request.

DO YOU OFFER METAL HARDWARE IN YOUR S and XS COLLARS?

Typically, our S and XS collars are only made with a matching plastic hardware rather than metal. The reason for the plastic hardware in the smaller sizes is that from customer comments and in our experience, we’ve found that the metal hardware is heavy for smaller dogs. It tends to weigh too heavily on their neck.

However, we can create custom sizes. If you would like to use the circumference of a S collar but size up to a thicker webbing to use a metal buckle, please get in touch with us prior to ordering so we can discuss this option.

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY PRODUCT ARRIVES DAMAGED?

We try to reach out to each customer individually after a product is delivered to see if your product has arrived safely and in good condition. 

If you do receive damaged goods, please contact us immediately at contact@darlingdearco.com so we can personally assist you and help you sort out your problem as quickly as possible.
